Captain(s) Log: August 2021

1 August: Took a trip down to the beach from the farm, had some great surf even if water was a bit crowded and then back at the farm enjoyed watching a tense but successful Springbok game against the British & Irish Lions.

4 August – Been a hard few days, dropping Mr J’s Fuel tank only to find no issues and a perfectly clean tank and then working through the various fuel lines trying to find the cause of our intermittent fuel starvation issue.  Finally found lots of gunk in the sedimenter filter, let’s hope this is it!

7 August: A great day, warm weather, fantastic surf, lunch on the promenade and then a super tight springbok rugby match to win the lions series

12 August: 2 years today since we officially set off on “our journey”.   We are certainly not where we would like to be in terms of geographical position but still glad to be on the road and to have the “freedom” it brings.

21 August: Making great progress on jobs list, helps having a workshop, not too much time pressure and a handy brother in law

23 August: Cambelt service done, Mr J is ready to rock

27 August:  A very nice afternoon catching up with Stuart’s Uncle & Aunt plus a quick stop past his cousin too.

30 August:  A nice day “off”, went to the beach for a surf and some sun time followed by a walk along the promenade.
