3 January: Oil and oil filter change
20 January: New Thermostat and coolant
27 January: Tyre rotation – standard item done approximately every 10 000km
5 February: Removed old “flexi” solar panel and replaced with a new 120w glass one.
9 March: New radiator
10 March: Replaced radiator top hose which split
17 March: Small hole in fuel tank(from tiny piece of gravel) soldered closed.
2 May: Standard oil and filter (oil, fuel & air) change service and in addition replacement of all rear suspension related (drop and and anti roller) bushes.
4 May: New 105 amp hour Deep cycle AGM battery for solar system.
16 May: Standard 10 000km wheel rotation and change of all 4 sets of brake pads.
25 July: Replaced brake fluid and bled brakes after a couple of issues in last weeks with overheating pads and spongy brakes on large Andes descents
11 August: New rear brake pads in attempt to stop squealing (purchased in Lima & some brand & model as originals from South Africa)
20 August: Rotation and cleaning of brake pads in an attempt to stop squealing
22 August: Re-installation of old original South Africa rear brake pads (they still have a little life on them and should get us to Brazil)
21 September: Cambelt change (std 60k service item); Oil Change; Filters change (oil, diesel, air); Grease all universal joints and steering grease points; Grease & reset rear wheel bearings; New Rear brake pads; new rubber support for exhaust; Replace rear oil crankshaft seal on engine.
20 October: Wheel rotation, standard 10 000km item
14 December: Overhaul and repair of Fuel injector pump and Injectors (4x)
