23 January: Greased front wheel bearings; replaced and rebuilt rear differential bearings (work done by a specialist mechanic)
23 February: Replaced turbo inlet manifold gasket (leaking oil)
24 February: Oil and filter change; Air filter change – per service schedule
9 April 2022: Topped up RHS swivel ball oil. Outer seal is leaking slightly
11 April 2022: Auto electrical issue, bad connection on battery isolation switch. (Auto Electrico, Marcello, Paysandu city, Uruguay)
16 May 2022: Headlights not working, a little jiggle of the relay behind dashboard and all is fixed. Small loose connection
12 July 2022: Standard service interval – Rotation of wheels, greased prop shafts, universal joints and steering linkages
12 August 2022: Occasional fuel starvation issue. Drained and cleaned fuel sedimenter of small dirt particles
24 August 2022: Standard oil and filter changes (Oil, Fuel & air). Replacement of rear diff pinion oil seal (leaking) and the right rear hub inner oil seal (leaking).
30 August 2022: Repair of radiator. Have been losing coolant since November 2021 when radiator was flushed and re-cored but never able to trace the leak despite a number of pressure tests.
2 September 2022: Attempts to resolve fuel starvation issue/dying at low revs -Swopped out Fuel lift pump (for original), changed fuel filter & made new supporting bracket for filter housing, new copper washers on Banjo joint for fuel filter, cleaned fuel sediment, blew out pipes to tank for fuel supply.
10 September 2022: Fuel injector pump repair and overhaul (reason for dying at low revs)
15 September 2022: Replacement of fuel lift pump, dropped and cleaned fuel tank, replaced 90% of rubber hose for fuel system together with new hose clamps. Tested fuel solenoid cut-off valve.
24 September 2022: New cylinder head and cylinder head gasket. New oil and oil filter. New coolant.
29 September 2022: Not Mr J related. Sewing repairs and new zip for awning cover.
9 October 2022: Cleaning of earth connection points on starter, chassis and gearboxes. New earth strap for chassis and gearbox connection
11 October 2022: “Turning” of a new thermostat housing plug to accommodate mechanical temp guage
25 October: Standard service item – Rotation of all 5 tyres
26 October: Standard service item – Change gearbox, transfer box and front and back diff oils. Greased prop shafts UJ’s and stearing linkages.
28 October: Replacement of high pressure oil pipes from oil cooler (old sweating too much oil)
29 December: Replaced auxiliary drive belt tensioner (old one’s bearing was beginning to run rough)
30 December: Replacement of thermostat
